The National Agricultural Marketing Board is enabled by Act No. 13 of 1985 and mandated with the following:
To assist all farmers with production, processing, storage, transportation, and sale of scheduled products
To facilitate access to local and international markets for locally produced scheduled products.
To register wholesale distributors, importers, and exporters of scheduled products.
To advise Government on the availability and demand of scheduled products.
To implement the trade regulatory functions so to facilitate and monitor the trade of scheduled agricultural products across the country.
To implement Permit application and registration procedures for Importers, Exporters and Transits of all scheduled agricultural products
To facilitate markets for local farmers in and outside the country and assist these farmers with production, processing, storage, transportation, distribution of the produce and the sale of scheduled products.

Contact the area MEO he/she will link the farmer to the Agric Economist who will assist with all the requirements. Key requirements include- land right, Irrigation water, and market contract.
We have three (3) operational functions, which are the Farmers Support and Development Unit, Encabeni Fresh Produce Market and the Regulatory division. These functions are mandated to develop sustainable farming business amongst small holder and commercial farmers in the Kingdom of Eswatini.
